We are thrilled to celebrate a momentous milestone: over 50 years of making wine and over 60 years of farming in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. Mill Creek Vineyards was founded by the Kreck family in 1964, the year we planted the very first Cabernet Sauvignon in what is now the prestigious Dry Creek Valley appellation. We tended our vines for nearly a decade before producing our first official vintage in 1974, and we have made wine every year since. Across four generations, the Kreck family has converted prune orchards into vineyards, built our tasting room by hand, and welcomed guests to our Westside Road estate in Healdsburg.
Rooted deeply in tradition and family heritage, we remain a family-owned and operated winery, farmers first, overseeing every step from the vineyard to the bottle. Today we craft award-winning, Bordeaux-focused wines from estate vineyards in Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley, sustainably farmed and certified under the California Sustainable Winegrowing program since 2017. We invite you to experience our wines and the family behind them with a relaxed outdoor tasting beside our historic waterwheel, just one mile from the historic Healdsburg Plaza.
